Festivals of Cedarburg drops Easter parade

Cedarburg -- Festivals of Cedarburg is dropping the Easter Bonnet Parade for 2005, citing a decline in volunteers and financial contributions from the city's retail community.

In addition, two other annual events already are scheduled for March 19, the date the Easter parade would have been held, Festivals of Cedarburg officials said in a news release. Those events are the Cedar Creek Winery's Open House and the Junior Woman's Club Wearable Art Show.
