Much of his campaign discourse meshes with Kerry's

Somewhere along the campaign trail, Matt Flynn started saying, "Endorsements aren't the be-all, end-all," after weeks of saying, "Endorsements are not dispositive."

It was a small sign that the longtime lawyer realizes he's presenting his case to 4th Congressional District voters instead of arguing a case before a judge.

But any way he says it, the line shows up in all Flynn's speeches and interviews -- right before he reminds his audience he has the backing of retiring U.S. Rep. Jerry Kleczka and a host of local officials and unions.
