Miller Brewing worker helped develop Lite

Donald Neumann believed that you got out only what you put into something.

That was true in his work as a research chemist for Miller Brewing. It was doubly true at home, where Neumann devoted himself to his family.

Donald H. Neumann Sr. died Friday, surrounded by family, at his home on the northwest side. He was 83. He had been diagnosed with lung cancer about 2 1/2 years ago.
