Bowling now has grand pooh-bah
Newly created USBC to be led by Dalkin
Roger Dalkin sees a bright future for bowling with the creation of
the United States Bowling Congress, a merger of the four major
organizations that govern bowling and service 3 million members in
the U.S.
The consolidation and streamlining will free up resources to grow
the sport, Dalkin said. The USBC can "expand our horizons" to reach
the 60 million people who bowl at least one game a year.
"The focus shifts from strictly members to all bowlers," said
Dalkin, who has been named chief executive officer of the USBC.
