Town officials forgot their earlier restriction

Town of Cedarburg -- The Tri-Par Oil gas station and convenience store on Wauwatosa Road has been selling beer for about five months now, but its brew sales apparently are going to be cut off next summer.

It's not because Tri-Par did anything wrong.

Town officials on Thursday said they made a mistake when they issued a Class A Beer & Liquor License to Tri-Par on July 7. That one-year license expires June 30, and town officials say the license will not be renewed.

Tri-Par doesn't want to give up its beer sales.
