Diligence pays off when trying to secure money

As the children of the baby boomers travel through the education system, 14 million students are expected to attend college in 2005. For most of these families, college costs are intimidating, but it doesn't have to be that way.

After working in student financial aid for the last 34 years, I have some tips to help navigate the often confusing maze that is the financial aid application process.
