Los Angeles From his 20th-story office, Mark L. Attanasio can see
the Pacific Ocean to the west and mountains to the north.
To the east, in faraway Wisconsin, the new owner of the Milwaukee
Brewers can see possibility and opportunity in his baseball team.
Today, the Bronx native and Ivy League-educated investor will be
in Pittsburgh to watch his Brewers open the 2005 baseball season
against the Pirates.
Next week, a large contingent of his friends and family will
travel from California to Milwaukee for the Brewers' home opener.
It will be a moment of great anticipation for the 47-year-old
Attanasio, who bought the team from an ownership group led by
