Cheese spreads used to be the ho-hum standbys of Christmas, but
now they're the sophisticated darlings of year-round entertaining.
They are to fancy crackers what butter is to bread.
Cheesemakers are turning out more intriguing flavors all the time,
and it's easy to make your own cheese spreads at home.
