Bacovsky, Bertha A.
(Nee Mantz) Of West Bend, age 88, was born to Eternal Life Thurs.,
Sept.15, 2005, surrounded by her loving family. Bertha was born April
1, 1917 in Richfield, where she was also raised, to the late Robert
and Clara (nee Hoernke) Mantz. She attended Wisconsin Teacher's
School and began teaching shortly afterwards. She was married to the
love of her life, Paul M. Bacovsky, March 8, 1941 in Richfield.
Bertha returned to UWM to to further her teaching degree. After
graduation in 1965, she taught for Lannon Elementary School, District
No. 6 and wrote columns for the West Bend News. Bertha was active in
the Fifth Ave. Methodist Church, the bell choir and other musical ...
