Brew City Bar-B-Q, one of the first restaurants to open in
downtown Milwaukee's Water St. night-life area, will be moving in
spring to another downtown site.
Brew City, 1114 N. Water St., will relocate to 125 E. Juneau Ave.,
restaurant owner R.C. Schmidt said Monday.
The new location is a former warehouse that's being renovated and
expanded to accommodate Brew City, Schmidt said.
Schmidt, who operates several area restaurants and taverns, said
he's moving Brew City because he wants to own the restaurant's
building.
Brew City leases the 15,000-square-foot Water St. building.
