A Milwaukee reader requested the recipe for Mediterranean Steak
Pita from Lulu Caf & Bar, 2261 S. Howell Ave.

Mediterranean Steak Pita Sandwich
Red wine marinated flank steak (see recipe)
Tomato olive relish (see recipe)
6 to 8 pieces flat pita bread (not pitas with pockets)
2 cups crumbed feta cheese
Prepare marinated flank steak and tomato olive relish.
When ready to assemble: Remove meat from marinade and shake off
excess liquid. Grill over medium-hot grill or broil in oven until
cooked to preferred degree of doneness. (Flank steak has the best
texture when cooked medium-rare to medium. Anything over medium tends
