WHAT IT'S LIKE HERE: From the decorative beer steins and boldly
flavored brats to the waitresses dressed in dirndls, the Old German
Beer Hall is as close to a traditional German beer hall as we've got
in Milwaukee. German memorabilia, including paintings of a few monks
enjoying a few brews and a couple of mountain goats perched overhead,
is combined with polka music, giving patrons a feeling of
gemtlichkeit, which translates into a comfortable setting full of
