Cincinnati To use terminology that fans of the Milwaukee Brewers
will understand all too well, Dave Bush pulled "a Hendrickson" Monday
night.
Surrendering five runs before recording his initial out, Bush gave
his club no chance to win a game in which National League earned run
average leader Bronson Arroyo (2.40 at game time) was on the mound
for the Cincinnati Reds.
In a replay of the Saturday night massacre against Minnesota in
which Ben Hendrickson allowed six runs without recording an out, it
only got uglier for the Brewers as the Reds poured it on for a 15-5
victory at Great American Ball Park.
