PLAYER OF THE GAME
As far as the Brewers are concerned, Pittsburgh second baseman Jos
Castillo is Babe Ruth, Barry Bonds and Hank Aaron, all rolled into
one. Castillo socked two homers, a double and a single and drove in a
career-high six runs, making him 6 for 8 with three homers and nine
RBI in the first two games of the series.
TURNING POINT
The Brewers' battered pitching staff can't stay away from big
innings. The Pirates hung a five-spot on Jorge De La Rosa in the
third inning, paving the way for yet another football score by the
opposition.
