Green Bay In the end, being a little more consistent wasn't
anywhere near enough for B.J. Sander.
The third-year punter became a negative hat trick for the Green
Bay Packers' third round in the 2004 draft, as the Packers released
him on Monday, effectively handing the punter's job to Canadian
import Jon Ryan.
Sander became the last of the three third-round picks for the
Packers in that draft to be released.
Cornerback Joey Thomas was released last November and defensive
tackle Donnell Washington was cut in June.
Washington never played a game for the Packers, Sander played just
14 games after sitting out all of his rookie season as an inactive
