Consider all the changes Slinger boys soccer coach Michael
Martinich has experienced the last couple of seasons.
Last year, he gave up an assistant's job at West Bend East to take
over as Slinger's head coach. His 2005 Owls started 1-6, but then
they found themselves. Slinger went on to go 20-7-2 and despite the
fact that the Owls never even cracked the state rankings won the
Division 2 state championship.
This year, eight of Slinger's top 11 players returned. Simple.

Not exactly.
First off, Slinger's enrollment grew large enough that the Owls
