Actors will fly.
More music will fill the air.
And while local theater companies are managing all that, they'll
be collaborating more than ever before; presenting local premieres
of plays by David Mamet, Brian Friel and Neil Simon; and staging two
shows apiece by playwrights Eugene O'Neill, Tom Stoppard and a
little-known Minnesota writer named Jeffrey Hatcher.
Among the 15 troupes that have announced their plans so far, 77
shows are in the wings.
Perhaps the biggest story behind the new season is the
collaboration between the Milwaukee Repertory Theater and the Ko-Thi
Dance Company on the drama "Benito Cerino." Based on a Herman
