You can't take it with you? Not a very convincing cliche, judging from the turnout at Saturday's RV and Camper Show at the Waukesha Expo Center.

Those who attend the show learned fairly quickly that the science of cramming creature comforts into a street-legal space is rather advanced.

And that means that you can take all the comforts of home along when you hit the road.

How about a double bed, dinette and sofa along with a gas range and refrigerator/freezer all on a 33-foot-long Ford chassis?

A vehicle like that gets 9 or 10 miles to the gallon. "Eleven, if you drive really nice," quipped Warren Haut of Advance Camping Sales in Milwaukee.
