It was their first meeting with a conflict-resolution expert, and
Elmbrook School Board members admitted their mistakes, recognized
their problems and seemed to treat each other with more respect than
they have in recent months.
Board members told James Warren, an Illinois-based consultant
hired for $750 per session, that their use of time and communication
with each other were key issues that blocked productivity.
"Is (time) a problem? Yes it is a problem," Superintendent
Matthew Gibson said.
Gibson, who helped Warren facilitate the meeting last week, said:
