Tired of taking the same old dishes to potluck dinners?
Try one of these choices, all of which are flavored in part with
cheese.
There's a pasta salad with that funky rice-shaped pasta, orzo; a
finger-food choice olive cheese puffs, which can be made ahead and
frozen; and a cheesy squash casserole.
Orzo Salad
11/2 cups uncooked orzo pasta
1 medium zucchini, diced
10 kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
4 green onions, thinly sliced
1 rib celery, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, finely diced
1/3 cup minced fresh parsley
1/3 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried dillweed
1/4 teaspoon salt
