It is the perfect car for the young at heart and old of body and
the full of wallet. The Jaguar Vanden Plas is, like its feline
namesake, quick, sleek and powerful, offering the sort of
performance that one associates with youthful spirit.
But it also is roomy and user-friendly mostly with lots of room
in the rear for long legs and cranky backs.
At $64,420 plus a $580 destination fee, one may assume the name
Vanden Plas means "bundle of money" in some obscure dialect.
The Vanden Plas is the long-wheelbase version of Jaguar's XJ6
sedan, a palace on wheels replete with fancy leather, fancy wood and
all the creature comforts for the money a Jaguar comes with
automatic air conditioning, ...
