To some people, Java is a cup of coffee. To others, Java is an animated Website. But to the people who live on Java and haven't even heard of Starbucks or the Internet, it's an overcrowded South Sea island that is very proud of its culture.

So I decided to go straight to the cultural center, Yogajakarta affectionately called Yogja (JOG-jah) by locals and tourists who can't pronounce Yogajakarta to see exactly what culture was there.

The first thing I learned is that Yogajakarta is the Batik Capital of the World. Several people told me this the moment I arrived. I'll bet you didn't even know there is a Batik Capital of the World. And if you want my totally unbiased opinion, you can die ...
