Terrorism, bombings and political unrest are ideas that usually come to mind when Israel is mentioned, but two high school students from Israel dispelled some myths about their country when they spoke to Dominican High School students last week.

Sivan Ritter and Omri Ronen are your average teenagers: They wear jeans, love music, go to high school and like hanging out with their friends. One would never guess that they live in a country that has been the center of the Arab-Israeli conflict, a political battle competing over national aspirations of who will call Israel their home.
