Up in the greater Boston area, it had become a rather hectic, yet satisfying, day in the Chris Ford household.

"I'm going in 10 different directions right now," Ford said early Saturday afternoon, only hours after he had agreed to become the sixth coach in the history of the Milwaukee Bucks basketball franchise.

"But I'm very happy they selected me. I'm looking forward to getting out to Milwaukee and getting right into it."

Yes, the Bucks finally concluded their tedious search for a head coach Saturday by announcing that Ford was indeed their man.

He will be announced as the new coach at a news conference in Milwaukee Monday, and he is expected to be accompanied by other members of his ...
