While the Waterfront Center Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia,
is as modern as they come, the 5-year-old property recently rated
one of the world's top 10 business hotels by a leading Canadian
business magazine has resorted to a centuries-old tradition: it
employs a page.
That's right, the same kind of hotel messenger who served in
medieval inns, and last served in a Canadian Pacific Hotel in 1981.
