People, people who need people maybe those people need a museum, too, a place where memories light the corners of their minds.

That was about what Ken Joachim thought when he conceived the idea for what he bills as the world's first store-cum-museum dedicated solely to Barbra Streisand, a reverently glitzy little shrine in San Francisco.

It was not an easy concept to sell, from the nay-saying real-estate agents to the friends who told him one diva does not a business make.

But "You know that song she sings, `Don't Rain on My Parade'?" Joachim, 39, asked. "That's the attitude I took about this, and it took on a life of its own."
