Beer and cheese two Wisconsin favorites combine in this easy
snack. Serve it in a hollowed-out bread "bowl" for an attractive
presentation.
Beer-Cheese Fondue
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, room temperature 1/2 small
onion, finely chopped 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1
teaspoon hot pepper sauce such as hot pepper sauce 1/4 teaspoon
garlic powder 11/2 pounds sharp cheddar cheese spread 3/4 cup (3
ounces) crumbled blue cheese 1/2 to 1 cup beerCut-up bite-size
vegetables and bread
1 unsliced round loaf of sourdough, rye or egg bread (optional)
