Kobe Bryant and Jermaine O'Neal want to follow the path that took
Kevin Garnett directly from high school to the National Basketball
Association last year.
Chicago coach Phil Jackson has a message for them.
"We don't want them," Jackson said. "People don't want to
baby-sit 18- and 19-year-old kids. Most coaches that are looking
for championships are looking for guys with five or six or seven
years of experience in the NBA."
That said, however, you can bet both players will be selected in
the first round of the draft this season, maybe even as lottery
picks.
