Former Pro Bowl players Mike Johnson and Keith Jackson are viewed
by the Green Bay Packers as perhaps the final two pieces in what they
hope will be a Super Bowl team in 1996.
Wide receiver Andre Rison is not.
The Packers are expected to reach agreement with the 33-year-old
Johnson to buttress their thin corps of linebackers, while general
manager Ron Wolf is confident his personal pursuit of Jackson, 31,
will make tight end a dominant position for another National
Football League season in Green Bay.
Rison, waived by the Baltimore Ravens in a salary-cap decision
