Why would anybody, anybody, want to be Marie Antoinette, the
18th-century French queen whose head took a permanent vacation from
her vertebrae during the French Revolution?
The only possible answer is: If you're Marie Antoinette, you get
to ride in the Great Circus Parade.
Patti McKeithan is the person who's sticking her neck out this
year to appear as the bewigged beauty. McKeithan will portray
Antoinette in the parade's new French Section.
McKeithan got the role partly because she is a representative of
parade sponsor Miller Brewing; partly because her husband, Jack, is
on the parade board; and partly because she's done such a darn good
job impersonating other historic figures in past ...
