It's so easy to dismiss Edgar Bennett as not being quite the answer. It's quite another to dismiss his diverse contributions as the Green Bay Packers' finest running back of the past decade.

Judged strictly on pure speed and God-given ball-carrying skill, Bennett shouldn't be the featured back for a team with designs on reaching the Super Bowl.

And as a realist, Bennett should understand that the Packers will be looking for the next Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith or Marshall Faulk to replace him until his career in Green Bay is finished.

That's the way it is when you played fullback in college, were drafted in the fourth round and aren't as blessed as some other backs.
