The victories are piling up almost as quickly as the injuries for
the Indianapolis Colts.
What a great time for a bye, which the Colts are enjoying this
weekend as they ponder a 4-0 record and a queue outside their
training room that seems long enough to stretch around the RCA
Dome.
"You go in our locker room and it looks like a hospital emergency
room with all the bandages, ice packs and braces," said defensive
back David Tate. "I can't say enough about how some of these guys
have played."
Twenty-three of the 53 players on the Colts roster have missed at
least one exhibition or regular-season game because of injuries.
