Milwaukee's City Plan Commission Monday rejected a proposed 65-
car
parking lot on N. 7th St. downtown because there are too many lots
in the area, then approved a 370-car lot two blocks away, for the
new convention center.
The lot that was approved, by a 5-0 vote, would offer parking for
events at the new Wisconsin Center and other facilities operated by
the Wisconsin Center District, such as the Arena.
The lot would be located on the south side of Kilbourn Ave., from
N. 4th to N. 6th streets.
