When Steve Strickler, Tiger Woods, Curtis Strange and 153 other
professional golfers tee off next week to start the Greater Milwaukee
Open, there's no doubt they'll be making a lot of birdies.
After all, last year golfers at the tournament tallied 1,527
birdies.
But that was last year.
How many birdies will be shot this year? Well, if you can guess
the answer to that question, you've got a chance to win a free
three-year lease on a 1997 Oldsmobile.
It's all part of the "Guess the Birdies for Charity" contest
sponsored by the GMO. All proceeds and last year $325,000 was
raised
benefit the 40 charities that participate in the contest.
