Two pairs of mothers and daughters are among Wisconsin's 93
delegates or alternates to the Democratic National Convention in
Chicago.
Watertown's Harriet Schwoch, 67, will be joined by daughter Heidi
Schwoch, 37.
The elder Schwoch returns to her birthplace for the Democrats' big
party. At the urging of others, she checked with her doctor to
ensure her year-old pacemaker won't be upset by the security
apparatus.
Not a problem.
Harriet Schwoch, a retired educator, found a second career at age
63 when she won a seat on the Jefferson County Board. Two years
later, she won a second term.
Heidi Schwoch, once a sportswriter, now works for a firm restoring
Watertown's old mill district into a ...
