Michael Johnson is wearing a black cap inscribed with the words
"Danger Zone." He plays with it during an interview, adjusting it,
pulling it down low on his forehead.
Call it his insecurity blanket.
The cap reminds him that he's treading on dangerous ground, where
one stumble out of the blocks can end his quest for a second gold
medal in the Centennial Olympic Games.
