If you're trying to find presents to fill special places on your
Christmas gift list, consider the once-lowly comic book.
Originally a 10-cent medium for kids dreaming of being superheroes,
the illustrated fiction field is now so wide that it boasts art and
stories that appeal to anyone with a bit of imagination. Some books
are so lavish that they can be a main gift. Others are cheap enough
to be stocking-stuffers.
