As winter weather continues across Wisconsin, arctic air masses will be getting stronger in their source region of northern Canada and Alaska.

These bitter cold masses of air are a common occurrence to our north. Given a big enough mass of air and the proper upper air wind flow, subzero temperatures and wind chills visit our area.
