Regal Ware Inc. will move jobs and coffee-maker production
machinery from Juarez, Mexico, to Kewaskum under a strategic
alliance with Melitta North America Inc., it was announced Monday.
The deal allows Regal Ware to manufacture, sell, market and
distribute electric coffee makers and other small kitchen appliances
in North America using the Melitta name.
For the last four years, Melitta has been manufacturing electric
coffee makers in Juarez for sale in North America. About 85 people
have been employed doing so, Melitta spokeswoman Barbara Hausner
said.
In February, that machinery, consisting of about 20 molds, will be
moved to Kewaskum and installed in the Regal Ware factory, said
