America is about to come down with a whopping case of Dalmatian
fever.
The symptoms: incessant oohing and aahing and a burning desire to
bring home a cuddly, black-and-white puppy shortly after viewing the
new Disney film "101 Dalmatians." Warning: This trend could be
deadly to dogs intentionally bred to meet the expected demand.
Disney's release of "101 Dalmatians" next Wednesday along with a
new line of "101" toys, gadgets and articles of clothing that is
expected to sell briskly is expected to spark a firestorm of
interest in the dogs.
With their black spots and floppy ears, the puppies are adorable.
But humane societies all over the country are sending out
