Article: Foster parents to press for more pay They plan to meet with legislators today

Wisconsin's foster parents, fed up with being among the lowest-paid in the nation, are taking their case to state legislators today with a march on the Capitol.

Officials with the Wisconsin Federation of Foster Parents, sponsor of the rally, say they have been contacted by many foster parents who are "taking out of their own pocket and taking money from their own children to provide for someone else's children," said federation president Sue Ludeking, of Whitewater.
