Just last week, the Milwaukee Mustangs added new stuff to their
limited selection of purple and teal merchandise.
Four new replica jerseys were unveiled at counters in the Bradley
Center with the numbers of some of the more popular players: No. 5,
quarterback Todd Hammel; No. 44, running back Lincoln Coleman; No.
99, lineman Ralph Jarvis.
And No. 3, Mike Miller.
Maybe the Mustangs needed the 5-foot-7 Miller for more than his
blazing kickoff returns, or his ability to hide under the belly of a
lineman before squirting ahead, a hidden eighth man.
Maybe they needed him because something exciting always happens
when he is on the field.
