Article: Farmers market lures shoppers Business group promotes Falls Village Centre

Potted plants, homemade soaps, kitchen-fresh breads and farm- fresh fruits and vegetables are some of the products filling vendors' tables every summer at the village's farmers market.

The market, offered each Wednesday through Nov. 26, is one of many summer events sponsored by the Village Centre Business Improvement District and designed to boost downtown business.

"We are trying to promote the Village Centre and make people more aware of the businesses we have," said Robyn Turtenwald, manager of the improvement district.
