The readers have spoken: Blackwolf Run stands tee and greens above
the rest of Wisconsin's 420 public-access golf courses.
The Blackwolf Run Golf Club in Kohler was the runaway winner as
best course in the state in a survey conducted by the Journal
Sentinel.
Blackwolf Run received 50 first-place votes and 189 points in the
survey, easily outdistancing the Brown Deer Park Golf Club, which
had 22 first-place votes and 115 points.
The Lawsonia Golf Club in Green Lake finished third with 10
first-place votes and 74 points. Rounding out the top five were
Bristlecone Pines in Hartland and the Lake Arrowhead Golf Club in
Nekoosa.
A total of 165 survey forms were returned. Readers were asked to ...
