Helen Kierzek, Milwaukee, sent a recipe for peanut butter
cheesecake as requested by Jeanne Wiedmeyer, Milwaukee.
She said although jelly can be used to top this cheesecake, she
prefers it plain.
Helen's Peanut Butter Cheesecake
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
3 tablespoons sugar plus 1 cup sugar (divided)
3 tablespoons margarine, melted
2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 tablespoons flour
4 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup grape jelly
To make crust: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix crumbs, 3
tablespoons sugar and margarine in bowl. Press onto bottom of
9-inch springform pan. Bake 10 minutes. Remove from oven but
maintain oven temperature.
