Mark Hollingsworth Cornell
Investment Broker
Mark Hollingsworth Cornell, 82, a former account vice
president and investment broker with Paine Webber in Washington,
died of lymphoma June 20 at the Washington Home.
Mr. Cornell had been an investment broker in Washington since
1953, and he had worked for the brokerage firms of Laidlaw;
Hornblower & Weeks, Hemphill Noyes Inc.; and Paine Webber before
suffering a disabling stroke in 1992.
A Washington resident, he was born in Sharon, Mass., and
graduated from Harvard. After college he was a journalist with the
Boston Herald Traveler newspaper, then worked for Douglas Aircraft
in California.
