With all the land-based food and festivities on tap for the 11th
annual Bud Light Maritime Days-Taste of Wisconsin, some folks might
lose sight of the festival's watery theme.
Festival Air and Water Director Roger Chapman has lined up an
impressive series of demonstrations and exhibits designed to focus
visitors on the lake.
"To tell you the truth, there's so much going on that we have to
work extra hard to make sure people remember this is a maritime
festival," Chapman said.
New this year is a unique demonstration that's, quite literally,
likely to be the hottest event of the day.
Weather permitting, the Coast Guard and Milwaukee Fire Department
will set a small, controlled fire on a ...
