Running with the football is Carl McCullough's game, something at
which he is very good.
This time, he decided to stand firm.
Yes, running would have been the easy thing for the fifth-year
senior from St. Paul, Minn., to do after Ron Dayne burst onto the
scene last year at the University of Wisconsin.
Carl McCullough was the Badgers' Ron Dayne when the real Ron
Dayne was just a twinkle in a lot of recruiters' eyes. Big, strong
and physical were the adjectives used to describe McCullough's
bruising style of carrying the football.

only the third sophomore in Badgers history to run for more than
