When you agreed to serve on the school PTA board last spring, fall
seemed like an eternity away. Your life would be organized by then,
you thought.
Back in spring, those music lessons for the kids seemed like a
grand idea. So did the youth theater group, the gymnastics classes,
the Brownies and the soccer team. All these activities wouldn't
start until fall, you reasoned.
Now fall is falling right on top of you. School is back, with
its endless activities. The problem is, stomachs still growl every
evening whether you're prepared to feed your families or not.
Short of hiring a full-time cook, we don't have the perfect
