Sometimes the reputation of a great artist outpaces the objections of even his severest critics. Certainly that has happened in the case of Frank Lloyd Wright.

The fabled architect, whose Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center was dedicated in Madison last week, has achieved in death what he and his advocates were unable to bring to pass during his lifetime: completion of this most controversial project.
